This image is identified in the 1931 Yackety Yak as The Chapel of the Cross but in the Ackland Art Museum Collection it is titled "The Episcopal Chapel"

This is one print from the extremely rare portfolio of six etchings published in 1931 when the set was offered for the then monumental price of $100.00.  The other five etchings are offered for sale here with the original portfolio and are illustrated under William Steene in the artist category.  The etchings were reproduced in the 1931 edition of the Yakety Yack the Official Annual of the University of North Carolina, Volume XLI which is included with the purchase of the set.  The Old Well etching is also reproduced on the cover of the January 1931 edition of The Alumni Review.  Another copy of this portfolio is in the collection of the Ackland Art Museum.  Price upon request and sold as a set only.
