Published by the American Artists Group (AAG), unsigned as issued with the original paperwork. The AAG was dedicated to selling artwork to the "common man" and published unsigned editions as they were less expensive. Nevertheless, a number of important artists of the period, such as Kent, were participants.
A strong impression with full margins, old hinges remain at top. Andreson was born in Midvale Utah in 1905 and worked for the WPA during the depression.
Other Impressions in the Met and SAAM, done for the WPA, a one inch tear in the right margin, 1/2 in away from the image, a rare signed impressison and numbered 27.
This print has never been framed. The paper is slightly toned and there is a small spot in the right margin. Beauchamp was active in the WPA and this print depicts what is probably a "speak easy" during prohibition.
