Published by the American Artists Group (AAG), unsigned as issued with the original paperwork. The AAG was dedicated to selling artwork to the "common man" and published unsigned editions as they were less expensive. Nevertheless, a number of important artists of the period, such as Kent, were participants.
A strong impression with full margins, old hinges remain at top. Andreson was born in Midvale Utah in 1905 and worked for the WPA during the depression.
Other Impressions in the Met and SAAM, done for the WPA, a one inch tear in the right margin, 1/2 in away from the image, a rare signed impressison and numbered 27.
This extremely rare drypoint features George Bellows in the center with his art students. The print is in good condition with adequate margins (the smallest is 3/8 in. at the bottom right at the signature). As usual, Peggy includes a self-portrait in the print. The number 6 appears in the lower left margin and perhaps indicates that this is the sixth impression.
